Hike name: Guelph Lake Trails
Check in at 6:15 for hike start at 6:30 – meet at the corner of Victoria Rd. North and Goldenview Dr. (due to construction the road beyond this is closed to traffic)
Hike: From this corner we will walk up to the trailhead. We will hike along the hiking trails that meander through the forest, along the lake and river, and past meadows. The trail is uneven with rocks and roots and there are few small hills.
Pace: 4km/hr, approximately 5.7km, 1 ½ hr plus walking to and from the trailhead
Parking: roadside parking on both sides of Victoria Rd North - north of Woodlawn Rd. and just before the Road Closed sign.
Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather
Recommended: water, snack, sunscreen, bug spray
No dogs please.
